A Foreshadowing of Future Mass Panic in America: This Is Why We Prepare….

Mac Slavo
February 12th, 2014

Every year somewhere in our country tens of thousands of Americans experience an emergency resulting from any number of scenarios that may include natural disasters, economic hardship or other unexpected circumstances. And every year we watch with amazement as those in areas that have been affected by snow storms, hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquakes lose everything and have no backup plan to deal with the crisis.

The thin veneer of our civilization should be apparent to everyone, yet it seems that no one really gets it.

Despite warnings from FEMA, as well as the prevalence of popular preparedness TV shows, Americans still don’t seem to understand how susceptible we are to a complete destabilization of life as we know it. It boggles the mind that most people seem to think that when disasters strikes they’ll be able to depend on someone elseto provide them with assistance.

Recent disasters, especially those here in the United States, are often limited to a particular city or region, so emergency service personal are often able to get things under control within a week or two. But events like Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Hurricane Sandy on the east coast, and the recent chemical spill in West Virgina often only affect a small percentage of our domestic population.

But what if the next disaster comes in the form of an earthquake on the New Madrid fault line? Or what if the sun unleashes a solar flare powerful enough to take down our electrical grid? Or what if a rogue terror organization were to detonate a nuclear weapon or dirty bomb over U.S. soil?

All of these scenarios would have an immediate and lasting impact on not tens of thousands of people, but millions.

What would it look like in America on that particular day?

If this week’s snow storm east of the Mississippi is any indication, then we can expect widespread pandemonium and panic:

Atlanta residents ransacked neighborhood grocery stores in frantic preparation for their second major snowstorm of the year, waging fights over food items and leaving destruction and empty shelves in their wake, a stunning precursor to what will ensue once a major crisis impacts the U.S.

After three inches of snow shut the city down two weeks ago, causing major havoc and leaving miles of cars stranded on immobile roadways, the residents of Atlanta took heed and shopped early.

According to people who Tweeted photos of barren store shelves, residents went crazy over essentials like milk, bread, water and eggs, and in some cases “people were fighting. Yes fighting,” alleges one user.

Given Americans’ propensity to riot over such inanities as Black Friday sales and winning sports teams, could fights and empty shelves also be expected in the midst of a major crisis?

The pictures and real-time commentary below demonstrate exactly why “preppers” do what they do, despite being ridiculed and laughed at by the myrmidons of the mainstream.

If a transient winter storm for which we had ample advance warning leads to panic buying, empty store shelves and brawls, then what do you think is going to happen in a worst case scenario?

It’ll start just like Atlanta, with people in panic mode looking for food, water andessential supplies. Once the food runs out, so will patience. Chances are that emergency responders will be overwhelmed or they’ll be taking care of their own families, so calls for help will go unanswered. Government will either be too slow to respond or they won’t show up at all:

“What people have got to know is that they’re on their own, literally on their own,” he said.

Experts say people should be prepared to look after themselves for at least three days after any major disaster.

But Mr Winter says most people have no plans in place.

“If we turn off power and water, how long will you be able to survive?” he said.

“When we put to people, ‘Can you survive for 72 hours without external help?’, the reaction is their jaw drops.”

Three days, maybe less, as we saw in West Virginia last month:

Lesson #1: There will be immediate panic

That’s when the situation goes critical.

The looting and violence will begin. First they’ll target businesses likely grocery stores, warehouses, and restaurants. When those are picked clean, they’ll go door-to-door.

Will you be ready? Because they won’t be knocking.

How Many Will Die in the New Madrid Earthquake?

How Many Will Die in the New Madrid Earthquake?.

Editor’s Note: As you read the following detailed report from Holly Deyo of the Millennium Ark and DareToPrepare.com keep in mind that nearly twenty years ago the government and their scientific propaganda mechanism made it a point to tell Americans that the New Madrid Seismic zone was safe – that there was no threat to the population whatsoever. Now, a couple of decades on, new research proves that they clearly fabricated their results and analysis, putting millions of unassuming Americans at risk. Today, the governments of Japan and the United States are saying the same thing about the Fukushima nuclear disaster, which begs the question: How much do you trust your government? Given the details shared by Holly below, the answer should be crystal clear.

Almost two decades ago, I wrote in Dare To Prepare about dire consequences from mega-quakes in the New Madrid Seismic Zone. After Dare To Prepare’s 1st Ed. was published, scientists retracted their worries and pronounced the New Madrid area ‘dead’. It was safe. What a different tune they’re singing now.

“Previous studies have suggested that it may be shutting down, based on GPS readings that showed little strain accumulation at the surface. Other research came to the same conclusion by blaming ongoing quake activity on aftershocks from the 1800s, which would essentially relieve strain on the fault.

“The latest study suggests otherwise. Hough and USGS geophysicist Morgan Page in Pasadena, Calif., analyzed past quakes in the New Madrid region and used computer modeling to determine that the continuing tremors are not related to the big quakes two centuries ago.

” ‘Our new results tell us that something is going on there, and therefore a repeat of the 1811-1812 sequence is possible, Hough said.’ “ 1

Now, 16 years later they admit – in a 180º retraction – this whole area of the Midwest is not only active, but quakes here can have potentially catastrophic results.

Image above right: The New Madrid Seismic Zone encompasses the thicker red ring on the right. However, looking at the pattern of quakes over the past 6 months, a megaquake could also take in portions of Oklahoma and maybe Texas.

Anyone who follows government pressers, which passes as news, knows we are at risk because of their tight lips, subterfuge, nuance and frankly stated, back-side kissing. Their urging is to conceal truth lest everyone panic. No one wants to be held accountable for killing economies (it’s better to kill people), let alone spark riots. The latest edition of Prudent Places USA shows the New Madrid quake area is a bomb waiting for its fuse to be lit.

ImageNo one should live with 200 miles either side of this fault zone including all up and down the Mississippi River from Illinois to Mississippi and from Arkansas and Missouri to Ohio and Tennessee, and regions in between(see map below).

Though these previous 5 mega-quakes damaged property and land primarily from Arkansas north into Illinois, America has built up massively and continuously over the intervening 200 years. It puts many more Americans at risk than in the early 1800′s. In the mega-quake’s aftermath, people in outlying areas will be run over by those seeking shelter and medical aid in addition to food, water and all other life-saving necessities. Sum it up in one word: pandemonium.

Denial is a comfortable pipe to smoke. We think it will never happen to us: whether it’s hurricanes, cancer, riots, tornadoes, market crashes or bone-crushing, unsurvivable weather. It’s human nature to be complacent. Yet some people have listened and moved to safer places.

Let the author state at this point, there is no safe place without Christ, yet there are more intelligent, less life-threatening places to live. God doesn’t expect us to stay stupid… especially if we have knowledge and do nothing.

ALL of our Countrymen in this beautiful Nation are being sacrificed for everything P.C. Where else are more people trying to tune in, yearning to learn, yet stymied by MSM (mum-stream media)?

It’s easy to forget imperative, yet quietly-stated news bulletins. It’s not your fault. Not really. There is a conscious effort of drip-drip-drip media to say it, yet not say it. News in dribs and drabs has little punch. It sticks nowhere between the ears. But once you have the seeds of knowledge, it is yours to pursue. It is incumbent on you to act, to protect you and your family. No one in mainstream wants to be accused of blowing Draino at us and scald our fear sensors unnecessarily. Media must, and does, openly support Obama and prints little information of value in order to maintain White House access.

It’s not just Obama, but it’s worse with O. This includes both Bushes, Billy Boy Clinton, and certainly the silly peanut farmer, clear back to at least Warren Harding. That was nearly 100 years ago. Whatever happened to Obama’s statement that he will have the most transparent government ever? What rubbish! Obama is interested in one thing – his legacy, which was to be ObamaCare, but even the dullest cretin can see this is a screw-up of magnificent proportions. It’s all status, recognition – and of course, a paycheck. News agencies want to be ALL THAT without exposure, without consequence, while puckering their toady lips on Obama’s backside. So they feed us pro-Obama garbage and pabulum ‘news’.

Scripture warns, you can’t have 2 feet planted in different fields. You’re either for Christ or against him. You either serve mammon (money) or God. You either serve liars, or have courage so speak truth. There is no half-pregnant scenario here. So consider where media lies.

Now flashback to vital news items from the last several years to see a disturbing picture.

Remember the extraordinary number of dead body or cremation containers stored in Atlanta? Trainloads of these were filmed. After exposure by alternative media, where did they go? Check here. In the picture below, I counted at least 6,800 containers – 5 rows, 17 high and at least 80 in each row. (I went blind at this point… <sigh>, maybe there were more. This was just one location.

(Image credit Before It’s News and Sherry Questioning All)

Now factor in an astonishing 140 million food packets and body bags purchased by FEMA in early 2011.

Homeland Security Act of 2002 Bill HR6566 requiring FEMA to prepare for mass death is documented here.

Bullets bought by government agencies number in the hundreds of millions – no, in the Billions. FEMA, Social SecurityICE,TSAUSDANOAA, (what does food and weather have to do with this?), Dept. of Homeland Security and here and here – all jumped into the purchasing frenzy. This is nonsense.

Last year FEMA requisitioned millions of meals for areas bordering the New Madrid, where people will likely flee when there is no food, no water, no services and no help.

There is an agenda here that doesn’t bode well for Americans. The picture is unmistakable. We are being quietly led to slaughter and unless we wake from our collective deep sleep and refuse to be willing participants in our destruction.

Activist Post: The Effects of Nuclear Testing Since 1945 Shows Us What We Can Expect From Fukushima.

Worldwide there has been a massive increase in cancers of all kinds since 1945.

On Monday July 16th 1945 in Alamogordo, Mexico the first ever atomic bomb was tested. The bomb was called Trinity, which by definition means three things that are closely conjoined to form one new unit. It’s also the name given to the Christian Godhead: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, but there was nothing holy about this alliance.

The success of the Trinity test allowed progression to the main event, the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 and Nagasaki on August 9, 1945.

16 hours after the Hiroshima bomb run, President Truman addressed the people of the United States, you can read his full speech here.

From July 16th 1945 to February 12th 2013, 530 nuclear devices have been air detonated, 528 tests and the two bombs dropped on Japan. 1525 underground tests have taken place during the same period.

The Basics

Nuclear explosions of any kind involve the conversion of atomic mass into energy by one of two processes, nuclear fission, or nuclear fusion.

Fission releases energy by splitting uranium or plutonium atoms which creates radioactive elements.

Fusion is triggered by a fission explosion that then forces tritium or deuterium atoms to combine into larger atoms. This creates more powerful explosions than fission.

Both of these reactions create three types of radioactive debris.

  1. Fission products
  2. Activation products
  3. Leftover products used in constructing the bomb that are radioactive but did not react during the process.

By 1960 there wasn’t a single place on Earth left untouched by these tests. Every soil sample, every water sample and even every polar ice cap sample, arctic and antarctic, were contaminated…and there was still 50 years more testing to go to bring us to the present day, and the last test conducted by North Korea in 2013.

Simon, Bouville and Land have found that:

…both direct and indirect evidence that radioactive debris dispersed in the atmosphere from testing has adversely affected public health.

Studies have demonstrated radiation-related risks of leukemia and thyroid cancer within a decade after exposure, followed by increased risks of other solid tumors in later years. Studies of populations exposed to radioactive fallout also point to increased cancer risk as the primary late health effect of exposure. As studies of biological samples (including bone, thyroid glands and other tissues) have been undertaken, it has become increasingly clear that specific radionuclides in fallout are implicated in fallout-related cancers and other late effects.

You can read the rest of their research here.

New research published in the journal Nature Communications has found that radioactive particles from these tests are still in the stratosphere, but volcanic reactions can cause them to move lower, into the troposphere. Their findings were confirmed after the eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in 2010. Plutonium levels in the lower atmosphere increased.

At 14:46 on March 11 2011 a massive magnitude 9 earthquake shook the Honshu region of Japan. 40 minutes later a huge tsunami devastated the northeastern coast of Japan. The Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear power station, managed by the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) was for the most part destroyed.

Three of the six reactors on the site were off-line and undergoing routine maintenance, the remaining three were operational. All of the operational reactors were shut down at the time of the earthquake but external power lines were cut. The reactors need to be cooled even after shutdown, and to cool them you need power. Back-up power was started and was working until the tsunami hit. The waves reached a height of 12 meters, wiping out the ten-meter-high sea wall in front of the plant. The plant itself was designed with a maximum safety factor of 5.7 meters, well under the height of the wave.

All back-up power, and therefore cooling capacity, was wiped out an hour after the earthquake. Without any cooling, the reactors went critical, and all three suffered core meltdowns within 72 hours of the earthquake. Hydrogen released during the meltdown exploded, blowing out walls and demolishing the roofs of the buildings housing the reactors.

Estimates vary as to how much cesium was released during these explosions, but the general consensus is that at least 168 times more was emitted than was produced when Hiroshima was bombed. The event was given an International Nuclear Event Score of 7, the same as Chernobyl.

Sea water was pumped in to cool the reactors and used fuel ponds, which created over 100,000 tons of contaminated water of which 10,000 tons was released into the Pacific Ocean over the course of the first week.

In the 34 months since the Fukushima disaster there have been literally hundreds of radiation leaks and contamination issues at the plant. Radioactive debris is washing up on the West Coast of the United States, and there are reports of high radiation readings on beaches, and American sailors who assisted in the days following the quake and tsunami are finding out they have cancer.

Radioactive iodine 131 has been detected in France and radiation contamination has been detected in the southwest of the UK.

Fish die-offs are increasing, and many have been tested and proved to have ingested high amounts of radioactive isotopes. Some scientists are also linking the recent spate of animal die-offs to the radiation from Fukushima.

Just a few days ago, ‘steam’ was escaping from one of the shattered buildings; TEPCO has not commented so far.

Considering that Fukushima has released more radiation than 528 air detonation nuclear tests combined, and remembering that radiation from those tests is still affecting people around the globe to this day, the problems caused by Fukushima are going to be with us for generations.

There are 437 operative nuclear power plants worldwide, and another 68 under construction. A dozen more are at the planning stage. Are we really so hungry for electricity that we are willing to risk annihilation to get it? What’s the point if generation after generation will suffer increased cancer rates?

There has to be a better way to live…and to die.

Japan Hit By 7.3-Magnitude Earthquake Off Fukushima Prefecture Coast, Tsunami Advisory Issued

Japan Hit By 7.3-Magnitude Earthquake Off Fukushima Prefecture Coast, Tsunami Advisory Issued. (source/link)

An earthquake of magnitude 7.3 struck early Saturday morning off Japan’s east coast, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Japan’s emergency agencies declared a tsunami warning for the region that includes the crippled Fukushima nuclear site.

Japan’s Meteorological Agency issued a 1-meter (3-foot) tsunami warning for a long stretch of Japan’s northeastern coast. It put the magnitude of the quake at 7.1. The U.S. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not post warnings for the rest of the Pacific.

There were no immediate reports of damage on land. Japanese television images of harbors showed calm waters.

The quake hit at 2:10 a.m. Saturday Tokyo time (1710 GMT) about 290 kilometers (170 miles) off Fukushima. Japanese broadcaster NHK reported that Tokyo Electric Power Co., the operator of the Fukushima plant, ordered workers near the coast to move to higher ground. Japanese news service Kyodo said there were no signs of trouble at the plant.

The tremor was felt in Tokyo, some 300 miles (480 kilometers) away.

All but two of Japan’s 50 reactors have been offline since the March 2011 magnitude-9.0 earthquake and ensuing tsunami triggered multiple meltdowns and massive radiation leaks at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant, about 250 kilometers (160 miles) northeast of Tokyo. About 19,000 people were killed.
